Observed capstone

The trainee inspects a real shirt, a woven bottom and a washed denim piece, completes traceable reports and explains each hold, accept or reject recommendation using the supplied Brand criteria.

This is a proposed internal NOSK.LIFE training rubric, not an industry standard. Completion requires an observed practical sign-off by a trainer and reviewed knowledge checks. Digital self-study alone does not certify competence.

How this course works

  • This is general training, not a universal acceptance standard. Final product decisions use the applicable Brand specification, approved sample, agreed defect list and authorized sampling or test plan.
  • Lessons, quizzes and capstone run on the Garment Ed course system: progress saves on this device and to your learner account when signed in. A certificate is only issued after NOSK reviews and approves the observed capstone — it is not an accredited qualification.
  • Never feel sharp edges or pull attachments by hand. Segregate and escalate suspect garments.
  • Record suspected causes as hypotheses, not facts. On-screen colors are illustrative, not physical shade standards.
