Advanced pilot — 2 of 12 modules available
Advanced Apparel Quality Engineering & Inspection
An advanced pilot, not a finished course. Two modules are available now — 8 lessons, 4 practicals and a 4-question decision quiz each. The other ten modules are planned and have no lessons yet.
No certificate is issued for this advanced pilot. Only 2 of 12 modules exist, so completing them is a reading and self-check record only.

Quality Planning and Evidence
Requirement hierarchy, risk-based control plans, traceability and data definitions, and evidence-based containment.
- Requirement hierarchy and approval conflicts
- Risk-based product and process control plans
- Traceability, denominators, measurement points and data dictionaries

Process Data and Quality Decisions
Data provenance and cleaning, denominators and aggregation, variation and stability, and association versus cause — using real public garment productivity data.
- Data provenance, units, dates, missing values and cleaning audit
- Counts, rates, denominators and aggregation pitfalls
- Variation over time, rational subgrouping and stability before capability
- Separating association from causes and planning a controlled improvement trial

Children's drawstrings — recall 26-477
- Recall date
- 7 May 2026
- Units
- About 120
- Product
- Youth sweatshirts with drawstrings at the hood/neck (youth sizes 8/10 and 12/14), sold by a Brand
- Hazard
- Drawstrings can get caught on objects and cause strangulation; the garments violate the federal regulations for children's upper outerwear.
- Incidents/injuries
- None reported
- Remedy
- Refund; consumers told to remove the drawstrings and return the garment.
About 120 is the number of recalled units in one notice. It is not a factory defect rate, not a percentage of production and not an industry benchmark.
