Training the Trainer

What this course is

A free, self-paced specialist course for people who train others in apparel: finding the real skill gap, teaching a method rather than a habit, running skills matrices and operator training, and measuring whether output, quality or safety actually improved. Three modules, each ending with a five-question quiz.

Modules

1. Module 1 — Finding the real training need

   Diagnose whether a performance problem is a skill gap, a method problem, a machine problem or a management problem — and only train when training is the answer.

2. Module 2 — Teaching the method

   Turn a studied operation into a teachable breakdown, demonstrate it in the right sequence, and coach without doing the job for the learner.

3. Module 3 — Measuring and sustaining the result

   Measure training against the performance it was meant to change, sustain it with calibration and follow-up, and report it without inflating the result.
