Select the right test for a stated risk, read a laboratory report correctly, and decide what a failure means for the order.
The practical work
Build the test plan for one style: dimensional stability after wash, colourfastness to washing, rubbing and perspiration, seam slippage, pilling and any performance claim on the label. For each test, write the method, the specimen requirement, the rating scale and the buyer's minimum. Then interpret a failed report and decide between re-test, process change and rejection.
