What you will be able to do
Read woven, knitted and nonwoven constructions and predict what each will do in cutting, sewing and wear.
The practical work
Compare a plain weave, a twill, a single jersey and an interlock on the same worksheet: construction, GSM, stretch direction, edge behaviour, cutting and sewing implications. Add one interlining and record the bond conditions it needs.
