Module 2 of 4

Module 2 — Chemical and Product Compliance

Covers chemical management and product compliance obligations.

What you will be able to do

Control chemicals and product compliance: know what is in the building, what is restricted for the market, and how you prove it.

The practical work

Build a chemical inventory for one wash or printing area: every product, its safety data sheet, where it is stored, who handles it and which restricted-substances list applies. Then take one buyer restricted-substances requirement and trace how a single input is approved and retested.

Prerequisite: Read module 1 and pass its quiz first.
