Module 5 — Use, repair and resale

Second-life routes after sale, and what each one really extends.

The longest lever on a garment's footprint is how long it stays in useful service. This module follows the garment through consumer use, returns, repair and resale, including the operational reality: what returns processing costs, what repair needs from the original specification, and where resale genuinely displaces new production.

By the end of this module: Compare repair, resale and rental for a given product and say which extends service life credibly.

Prerequisite: Modules 1–4 — second life depends on how the garment was specified and made.
