    State the product, quantity, price target, delivery date and market.

  2. 2. Design

    Describe the design intent and what the customer is buying visually.

  3. 3. Product development

    List the specification decisions and what must be approved.

  4. 4. Sourcing

    Choose fabric and trim sources and justify each choice.

  5. 5. Costing

    Cost the garment: fabric, trims, CM, overheads and margin.

  6. 6. Pattern and sample

    Set out the pattern work, size set and the fit approval steps.

  7. 7. Production planning

    Plan capacity, line allocation and the critical path dates.

  8. 8. Cutting

    Plan marker, spreading, shade sorting and bundle control.

  9. 9. Sewing

    Give the operation flow, the bottleneck and the in-process checks.

  10. 10. Value addition

    Specify print or embroidery with parameters and tolerances.

  11. 11. Washing and finishing

    State the recipe intent, the approved reference and the controls.

  12. 12. Quality

    Define inline and final inspection, sampling plan and test requirements.

  13. 13. Compliance

    Name the safety, chemical and social requirements this order carries.

  14. 14. Packing

    Give the pack method, ratio, marks and the pre-seal checks.

  15. 15. Logistics

    State the shipping term, documents and the handover point.

  16. 16. Retail

    Say how the product reaches the customer and what returns risk it carries.
