Dyeing, finishing and garment washing carry most of a garment's water and a large share of its process energy. This module covers dye classes and liquor ratio, finishing chemistry that later blocks recovery, and denim laundry routes where the difference between two specifications can be several hundred litres per garment.
By the end of this module: Identify the largest water, chemical and energy loads in a wet process route and the practical reductions available.
