Formula or method

Bath volume (L) = dry load (kg) × liquor ratio (L/kg); chemical charge (kg) = bath volume × dose (g/L) ÷ 1,000; chemical cost per garment = charge × price ÷ garments in the load.

Liquor ratio, dose and load are taken from the approved wash recipe card for this process step.
Dose is expressed per litre of bath; convert owf (on-weight-of-fabric) doses before entering them.
