Formula or method

DHU = Σ defects ÷ inspected units × 100; largest-code share % = highest single defect-code count ÷ Σ defects × 100 (ASQ defect terminology: one unit may carry several defects).

Assumptions

Each row is one defect code from the authorized defect list, counted over the same inspected lot and period.
Severity classification follows the buyer's or factory's approved defect classification.

Limitations

No image classification is performed; the tool summarises counts an inspector enters.
DHU is not a sampling plan and does not accept or reject a lot.
